  • Once retransmission agreements are reached with the broadcast networks' affiliates, over 44 percent of the country's cable subscribers will be able to receive at least one broadcast networksdigital programming.

¹ The existing retransmission consent agreements are expected to serve as frameworks for retransmission consent agreements between these MSOs and broadcast network affiliates. Therefore, the numbers in this column assume agreements being reached between these MSOs and the broadcast network affiliate stations.
² AT&T numbers include MediaOne. The acquisition, however, is pending regulatory approval.
³ One of Fox's O&Os is operated under a local marketing agreement.
4 The totals represent individual cable subscribers capable of receiving at least one digital signal, and, therefore, AT&T BIS subscribers receiving both the digital signals of Fox and NBC have been counted only once.
